Pon Pon Pata Pon! =)

Well, like the classification, it's my guilty pleasure. Patapon is a game where you use both strategy and rhythm to guide your Patapon army through countless battles with strange ostrich-like creatures to giant worms in the desert on their search for "IT".

There are four drums, each representing a different button on the PSP, but that main ones are circle and square, so make sure you're up for constantly pressing these buttons in rhythm to the drum over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. It may seem like something annoying but these little creature seem so cute and unusual that you may just end up chanting along with them.

Battling against the Patapons' enemies, the Zigotons, could not be any simpler. Early on in the game you are taught the commands for "march", "attack" and "defend" so all you need to do is keep your rhythm and play these combinations of drum beats to lead your army to victory. The only problem about being in a mission is that there is no pause option, so it's all at once or just quit the mission and do it another time.

The bottom line: hypnotizing fun with a hint of strategy involved.
