but overall i have been impressed by this game,everything blends in well together and the game is super fun.
Graphics: 10/10
the graphics are designed by some french artist or other, don't know his name dont care ,they do look fantastic however and all the characters possess a unique charm about them.this game is made by the same team who made loco roco and graphically you can see the resemblance .this though is probably one of the prettier games on psp even if its not the most flashy
gameplay: 9/10
in the game you play as a god with drums when you play abeat the patapons will sing it back then its your turn again.there are several commands available,which need to be played out in rhythm form from the basic move forward to the more advanced defence song.
if you get several commands timed well your patapons move into fever mode which increases the effectiveness of your commands and the song starts to kick off.
with that out of the road the game tells the story of a tribe of little creatures who have been displaced form there home and you as there god need to help them restore their former lives.
you do this through battles,boss fights and hunting trips all of the above are important but the repetitive hunting trips can get a little musty after a while.
boss fights are amazing,strategic affairs and the fighting in some of the battle levels can get quite intense as you push through ranks of enemys in barricades trying to get to the end while keeping your guys alive.
Sounds: 7/10
great soundtrack,the song the patapons sing can get stuck in your head for days and when you go into fever mode you cant help but sing along for instance in hot weather your patapons will slur the song making it harder for you to keep the beat.
sandwich rating :5/10 lengthy campaign and hard difficulty will keep you at it for some time ,though you may not feel like going back again once you finished it.
best bit: any boss fight you win
