Nevermind the silly name, this game is sheer fun.
An innovative and fun approach makes this game the father of all musical games. PaRappa has influenced games including "Dance Dance Revolution" and "Guitar Hero" with it's simple but fun controls.
Parappa faces off against several MC's who have their own style as he tries to win the heart of Sunny Funny. The MC will "rap" a few lyrics, and you will be asked to repeat it. Simply hit the correct button at the right time and PaRappa will start rapping, the better your timing is the better score you will receive.
The songs are well written and VERY addictive, You may find yourself in a few socially embarrassing situations if you are ever caught singing these songs out loud, so be careful......and you will be singing these out loud, trust me.
My only gripe is that the game is much too short, but It's better to have a beautiful gem than an big ol' ugly rock.
If you have never played this game I recommend you look for it in the bargain bin, or on EBay, you won't regret it.
