Parappa the Rapper is known to be one of the first rhythm games and was just a teaser to show what would be next for this genre but despite that, it became a huge success winning over $1 Million worldwide and even spawned a spinoff game, anime and sequel (not to mention a PSP port) but that begs the question... Has Parappa stood the test of time? Hell Yes! The game has undeniable charm in its story and characters and the songs are some of the greatest in gaming history, the only two downfalls are the replay value which there is very little of and a major bug where it looks like you performed a line correctly but the game will tell you otherwise. Parappa is an instant Playstation Classic and quite possibly one of the greatest games of all time!
