A fun game that doesn't dissapoint!
"You are a paperboy. You must get papers onto all of the subscribers porches or mailboxes. If you miss, you will lose them as subscribers. Lose them all and its game over"
now the COOL thing is, that you can throw papers into the non subscribers windows, dogs, people..you name it...and get points...pretty awsome for the time!
Graphics: Not the greatest in the world, but still well done. Lots of stuff in the yards of the houses. Many things are animated and will react if hit with a paper.
Sound: Merely adequate. There isn't really any memoriable tunes to speak of.
Gameplay: It sounds easy to throw papers at a house, but there are many obsticles in your way, ranging from R.C. racers to death himself. You have a set number of "lives" or bikes or whatever, and then its gameover for you!
Fun: Paperboy was put on a ton of different consoles...so it must have stood the test of time. Paperboy had a sequel released on SNES, which was more of the same.
Overall: Fun game, go out and MAME it, or play it on a console
