Overall, Paper Mario TTYD is a very long and continous game with many abilities that can only be done on paper.

User Rating: 9.5 | Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door GC
The action is similar to other Mario RPG's. You hit first, then the enemy, and so on until you or the enemy is defeated. This also gives it a card game feel, but it has many more distinctive traits such as the audience that can help or hinder Mario and his partners. There are two basic weapons: Jump and Hammer, but the badges ( such as Power Stomp and Fire Drive ) make use of many special abilities. These attacks cost flower points, which give way to logic. When out of the battle arena, there are many puzzles and challenges you have to overcome with some paper abilities, such as turning into a paper airplane or into a paper boat. This game is totally going to make you want to play it for hours because of its extensive and infinite game play. I say the most challenging part is the Pit of 100 trials, which, if you are a professional, leaves you at the end with a boss that has much more deadly moves than the final boss, the Dark Princess. However, the battle is worth it, for there are many strange awards lurking in the depths.
