Maybe this game doesn't live upto the expectations of say, Crash Bandicoot but at the end of the day, this game is pure fun no matter how bad the graphics and sounds are today.

I don't actually know or understand the story to this game, you basically start off in a "world" and you have to play through the levels either playing as a Jester or a Woman who can jump really high. Nice.

The aim of the game is to basically collect "gold" and kill enemies which include bats, weird purple goblin things, plants that try to harm you and i'll let you use your imagination for the rest. This is a generally easy game but some parts can get tricky and when you die 3 times in a row, you will get really pissed off. Ignoring the hard parts and this game is a joy to play.

The graphics were great for the time but now when you look at them, they are really terrible, the trees are all smudgy, the sky looks like the blue you get on the program "paint". Terrible.

There isn't really much music to the game that stands out, it's not exactly good but it's listenable whilst you go through the levels.

As for the main element of a game, the gameplay. The gameplay is great, it's a 2-D scroller that still looks almost 3-D, I can't explain unless you play the game. Playing as the woman is a lot more helpful when it comes to overcoming obstacles and gaining more "gold coins" whereas the Jester can do a really good spinning attack thingy but doesn't help when it comes to collection stuff. On your way through the stages, you will come across "power-ups" which basically allow you to fire fireballs or iceballs at your enemies. Very nice.

Not really much more to say about this game apart from if you see it at your local gaming shop, go ahead and buy it.

Fun game.
