This is not just Pac-Man with a new look. This is Pac_Man like you have never played it before. WARNING VERY ADDICTIVE

I have to admit at first I ignored it. Then, people started talking about it. I was not even interested, but I took someone's advice and downloaded the trial game. Within ten minutes I unlocked the full game. We have all seen different versions of Pac-Man that attempted to put new twist in the game to make it fresh; but they all lacked that classic feel that made the game what it is today. This Pac-Man has a new look, more spunk, and new game play without losing the classic feel. Somehow it just feels like you are playing the classic Pac-Man and you stumbled upon a secret level or something. The visuals are great. Instead of making the characters look different they just put them in an all new setting. The neon colors of the levels make it feel like Pac-Man in Vegas.

The game play is what will get you. The object is not to eat the pellets and pass, it is to score big and outlast the clock. The levels are basically broken down into halves, when you clear a half a piece of fruit will appear right on the opposite side of the center of the board. Once that piece of fruit is eaten more pellets will appear on the side you just cleared. Some boards even change in the layout when this happens. This means that paths that existed before have now all changed. If that is not enough, the game also speeds up depending on how many points you stack up without dying.
Scoring is very important because in order to outlast the clock skills alone may not be enough, so you are going to need some men to burn through. Now because fruit will constantly appear, stand in one spot, and does not disappear until eaten you can rack up points with ease. Lets not forget using power pellets to eat ghost. The cool thing about the power pellets in this one is if you continue to eat ghost and gobble up another power pellet before the other one runs out the points will stack up to 3200 points for every ghost you eat. For example, a good way to start stacking up points and extra men would be to start by eating a power pellet and eat all the ghost as they come out. Then, run back and eat another power pellet and eat the ghost again this will get you to the 3200 per ghost mark. As long as you have power pellets on the board you can continue to do this and stack up points to gain men. You have to be quick about it and when you do it right, be sharp; because by that time the game will increase in speed dramatically.

The only drawback to this game is the price. It is a ten dollar game so most people may not buy it unless they love Pac-Man or they got MS points to burn. There is not a whole lot of variety but the difficulty of the game modes should keep you busy, trying to survive the levels and then also trying to top your high scores.

All in all I would highly recommend trying it out. download the trial game and let me know what you think. You will be surprised.
