Well as many have explained these big review gaming sites have some explaining to do.
They rip apart every game for not having a story/campaign, Lack of content and unlockables and yet those titles get a 7 to 8 a best overall score. Well this game has the least amount of content I've seen in a really long time for full price!
What a joke. 12 maps that are mediocre at best. I'd say half of them are well made while some are just plain lazy, linear and boring. Especially the ones they included in the Beta.
Graphics are decent and look great so nothing really there to say. Very colorful characters and maps good animations, smooth framerate.
Gameplay is pretty decent control wise although sometimes it feels a little clunky especially the larger characters. One game mode to choose from online?!?! wow. this is a real kick in the junk what a disappointment. I'm at lvl 15 and bought at launch less than 2 weeks ago and feel like I might be trading this game in soon. It get boring pretty quick. Also the unlocks are skins, voices, sprays? This is terrible and shallow content. 95% of the content you unlock in a loot crate after levelling up is pretty much useless.
If your interested in this game i'd hold off. I'm sure Blizzard will release more content(hopefully) in the near future. I took gamesite reviews and they screwed me hard this time. Could this game be a 8-9 rating? It's possible but they'd need to add a ton more content.
