What it does good - doesn't make up for what it does poorly.

If you played OF: Dragon Rising - you'll know the game isn't the simplest FPS. It revolves around taking orders and giving orders to various squad mates - which again, is a disaster. The AI isn't the best - but it doesn't necessarily ruin the gameplay. What does ruin the gameplay, however, is the complicated way of running missions. The font (could be my TV) on the screen is hardly legible, I have to guess what they are as I'm playing which complicates things even further. If you don't complete your current objective within 1 minute - you begin to hear repetitive insults. As for the gameplay - there are some things that need to be adjusted. The gameplay feels like it was ported, poorly, from another platform. When zoomed in on the scope (that hardly has an affect) moving your weapon to either side seems way too "smooth" - and not in a good way. Instead of the weapon moving slowly, it moves.... way to fast. Meaning you have to shoot as you move so that you can hit the target before they get to where they're going - and it's a huge annoyance.

The game, like the last, has a lot of potential - but potential means nothing when the game meets 1/2 of it. Glad this was a rental and not a purchase - I would have been greatly upset with myself.
