Another success for Capcom.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny was indeed a very fun game and quite a bit longer than the original Onimusha at around double the length.

The game-play was very solid and fun. It is great sword-slashing fun, has good concepts, and fun puzzles. Those puzzles are just so great and challenge the player in a good way. However, there is one extremely large pain in this game that frustrated me to no ends: there is a task in the game that is required to continue the story in which the player must turn both analog sticks in circles in opposite directions extremely fast and for quite a long stretch. This is a timed test and failure is very likely. I even broke a controller over this as I had become so greatly frustrated over this. This may sound like a minor thing and, indeed, it would have been if it weren't requisite to finishing the game. Even when I did manage to succeed in completing this task it was, surely, only by a second or less. My brother would not have even finished the game if I had not done this for him so, sadly enough, I had to do it twice. Other than this highly annoying problem the game plays perfectly and has plenty of replay value.

The sound on this game is simply exquisite. From the sound of a weapon striking flesh to the sound of lightning striking to the music to the voice acting, the game is perfect in this aspect. The music in particular really gets the player in the right mood for the action.

Graphically this game is quite nice. The only real problem I have with the visuals is that the animations still don't match up with the voices.

Overall, a very nice game and if you are not worried about the "twin spin" than, by all means, give it a try.
