A perfect mix of soundtrack, beautiful graphics, a trapping story and a creative game-play

User Rating: 10 | Okami (French) PS2
In Okami your main character is Amaterasu, the Japanese goddess of the sun, reincarnated in a wolf.
The interesting thing of Okami besides the fact that you're a wolf is that your main weapon is a brush: as a goddess you have the power to do different stuff with this ability (turn day to night and night to day, don't want to get more into it as it will take you the fun of the discovering it by yourself) to make it short the brush is your most important tool. Don't worry if you're not fond of the brush you have a bast set of weapons, moves and items so chill out.
Okami also includes a trapping story based on Japanese mythology: to make a long story short your main goal is to defeat the evil Orochi and restore peace to the world.
The soundtrack is great and you may stay in one place long enough to hear it over and over again.
Graphics are breathtaking, backgrounds especially.
In the sense of interaction with other characters the game really resembles The Legend of Zelda or Custom Robo as characters only emit sounds instead of speaking.
Replay is granted for this game the combination of story, graphics, game-play, soundtrack and hidden stuff will keep you stuck to the game
The only bad thing I would like to point out is the controls, unluckily the PS2 control doesn't let you fully enjoy the use of the brush and sometimes even though you draw things right it will not take it as so.

My Final Opinion:
Okami is a MUST HAVE, even though it's little, really little, flaw Okami will have you to stuck on your coach, bed, sit, whatever for a relative amount of time, I still do. I will still give it a 10 and I'm hoping for a second release.
