Thank god I found a copy of this game at may store for like $16.

Story is told in a story book way. There's a little girls that likes to read books I guess she reads the books to us. So first you play as Gwendolyn a valkyrie that wants her father, the demon lord, to make him notice her more of a daughter then a warrior. Cornelius a prince that was turned into a rabbit and wishes to break the curse. Mercedes a fairy princess that must lead her kingdom after her mother died. Oswald a shadow knight who was abandoned at a young age and serves the fairy queens nephew Melvin. And Velvet a princess who is one of the two uncursed survivors of the ruined kingdom of valentine. Also you need to beat each story to unlock the other characters.

Gameplay is like a 2D side scroller, you go around a map fight bad guys and fight a boss. Also I have say that this game is VERY HARD!!! You will die multiple time. Anyways to level up your HP you need to absorb phozons that enemies release when defeated and that your EXP I guess. To level your MP all you need to do is eat food which gives you EXP. You can also do alchemy making things like healing or bombs by fusing two things in your inventory.

Graphics are just beautiful, everything just looks amazing and animates perfectly, suits the fantasy story book feel. There is some slowdown when too much stuff happens on the screen, especially against one boss.

So after you beat the five characters you'll unlock another book that the girl read and you fight five bosses you need to fight with the right character, then after that you pretty much just get the ending.

Also this game comes with japanese track.

Good thoughts:
- great story
- beautiful 2D graphics

Bad thoughts:
- VERY HARD!!!
- times where it slows down
