A Puzzle-Platformer Game, and a Really Good One
As a launch title there were two decent games for the xbox, Munchs Oddysee, and of course, Halo, though Halo was fantastic, I still think Munch is great for Puzzle Platforming fans. Like myself.
To begin with, your first play as Abe, from Abes Oddysee, and Abe Exxodus. The objective is to 'get your lazy mudokon friends and lead them to the big well'. Here you face your first enemies in the game, a little bit of a tutorial, which is the best one yet, it's like the first level, in fact it is. After Level 1, you go to Level 2 or Tutorial 2, You then play as the new character Munch, and your objective is to 'get outta here'. Lets cut this short, after that level you play as both of them all about, solving puzzles, and attacking enemys, and jumping platforms. Thats also the gameplay.
The controls take some time to get use to, expectually for Oddworld, because the 2 other games was a side-scroller. This is 3-D, now YOUR playin with ODDittude. But other than that, no problem at all, the D-pad is the camera, and the right thumbstick is Attack, it takes time.
The cutscenes are done with perfection, but a lot of you might find them, disturbing, expectually the Bad Ending.
The games drawback, it's hard.
A really good puzzle platformer, and worth checking out. But good luck getting the sequel afterwords.
