Pshychedelic but not really fun

Hands down the most psychedelic game I've ever played so please heed the warnings about seizures and epilepsy seriously. Even though I never had issues with nausea sea sickness or anything that game managed for the first time in my life to make me a bit dizzy at times and really feel that I was high on LSD (I guess as i've never used any drugs).

That being said it's supposed to be a story driven horror game and even though the atmosphere at times seems tense the overall safety of the game negates all that feeling as in the rare occurrence you die you re-spawn exactly where you were or very near (thank god for that or else it would be doubly boring). The story is rather confusing with a somewhat rushed ending that magically explains what one could figure out by the first victim's terminal but says nothing about the real motives of your son. When you connect into other's people's minds it's where it gets really trippy, you would imagine that you would simply watch their memories in a relatively normal way but no it's a huge huge mess. Interesting at times but mostly boring.

The dialogues are very short and nothing you say changes anything, thus removing any consequence to what you say or do. Puzzles are ridiculously simple and I bet monkeys can solve them and examining a body is simply a question of pixel hunting. If you were sold on the idea of actual detective work, forget it, not going to happen. All the solutions are laid in front of you as your characters simply recites them.

The graphics were extremely below standard for a 2017 game. All in all it's a relatively short game that would take you about 8 hours to complete at an extremely leisurely pace. The controls were unrefined, as such interactions with the environment can become tedious

Despite the negative review, I would recommend this game simply because of the idea's premise and the psychedelic factor.
