This game has substantial graphics but you've defintely seen better.

Story
2/5
There isnt much of a story to this game but most hack n' slashes don't have one anyway. You start as either a boy or a girl on an island somewhere in Greece. There are the typical monster types here and yet its satisfying. Eventually your brother or sister dies forcing you to take the body to be burned. The gods then notice your bravery and fighting skills and chose you as a champion to find the sickle of kronos. THe questing is alright but sometimes gets repetitive.

Gameplay:
3.5/5

There are three different classes in the game including a warrior, hunter, and wizard. THey are typical but have some cool powers each. The side quests are almost MMO like with the killing of this or that monster and taking an item from it. But the action is not typical hack n' slash. It is more like a mix of an MMO style fighting, more slow and smooth, then hackin' away at every living thing you see. Also, there is a cool aspect of stamina. When you fight, you not only lose health, but you also lose stamina which can lower your health regeneration rate. A way to get stamina back is by going to one of the many rest camps in the game. There are about 2 rest places per map or area. It is necesary to visit these often to not only regain health but to save your game. Every time you die, you will go back to your last resting place. A way to increase your stamina bar is by adding points to your endurance attribute.

Leveling
4/5

In this game your level up rate is very fast compared to other games. It might take you only five minutes to level up 1-2 times. The looting sytem is also good but with so much loot the inventory in the game is somewhat small.

Classes
3/5

As I said earlier there are only three classes that are each heavily developed. To earn new abilities you have to pay your priest of your god and class. There are lots of abilities to spend your gold on. Each class can chose one of the nine greek gods in the game to worship. Each class also has two attributes that are special for them. Weapons and armor are specially designed for the classes also which makes the weapon diversity a bit lower.

Overall
3.5/5

The game has satisfying but a bit bland gameplay. 3 unique classes to chose from. It is fast paced leveling wise but not in the actual story and gameplay. The story isnt really even there either. But the thing Numen does hit it right on is that the universe is very open and you can decide almost everything. You dont have to do anything at a certain time and there are many things to do. The gamplay is at the perfect pace and not too repetitive. Lastly, the game had great potential but just didnt use it right. With so many other great games out there to play, why chose this one?
