You are Travis Touchdown who is trying to become the #1 ranked assassin. You have to kill the top 10 ranked assassins to become #1. The person setting up the matches for you is Sylvia Christel. She constantly taunts Travis with her feminine "stuff" leaving him dry. The story is very entertaining and fun and funny to watch. The rest of the story is up to to you to find out. The story is very entertaining, and the characters are really good. You'll want to watch every cutscene when you play through again and again.

The controls are excellent and very responsive. You swing your beam katana with A, you can hold down A to charge up your beam katana and do a powerful attack. You move around with the control stick on the Nunchuk. The control pad on the Wii Remote moves the camera around. There are basically 2 parts to the game; fighting, and driving around Santa Destroy. The combat is excellent, and driving around Santa Destroy is kinda fun, but kind of a drag sometimes. The collision detection is a little off and there's not much to do in the city. The excellent combat greatly outweighs the sometimes bothersome city.

The graphics are very nice overall. The textures are clean and the art style is very well done. The animations are also smooth and look great. There are some flashy effects as well, and they look great. I really dig the 8-bit look of the menus and hud. The framerate however occasionally acts up, but it's mostly when you kill a half dozen guys or so at once. Overall, the graphics are well done and stylish.

The sound in No More Heroes is excellent. The voice acting is perfect, from Travis Touchdown to the sexy, french Sylvia Christel. The sound effects are great, especially for your beam katana which sounds like a lightsaber. I really like the music, as it is punk rock, and the main theme is awesome. Some of the one-liners are repeated too often, but it's not a big deal or annoyance. Overall, the sound is excellent.

There's quite a bit of lasting value in No More Heroes, but that'll vary depending on how much you like the gameplay. Thankfully, I love it, and felt compelled to try to unlock everything. There's a lot of trading cards to unlock. There's unlockable moves, and clothing to find. Some clothing can only be found by opening up dumpsters in the city. The main game is a decent length at around 10 hours, and there's three different difficulties. No More Heroes will keep you busy for a long time.

Story:Great characters and an entertaining story. The voice acting is also excellent. 10/10

Gameplay and Controls: The controls for combat are flawless and the combat is also excellent. The city is occasionally boring, but the combat greatly outweighs it. 9.5/10

Graphics: Clean textures and great artstyle. Love the 8-bit huds and menus. The animations are great as well. Occasional framerate dips and some pop-in while you're in the city. 9/10

Sound: Excellent voice acting and the sound effects are top notch. Awesome music as well. Sometimes repetitive one-liners, but not a big deal. 10/10

Value:Lots of clothes and cards to collect. Also a decent length and includes three difficulties. Don't be surprised if you play through more than once or three.9.5/10
