Suda's first sequel it shows? Couldn't even tell

User Rating: 8.5 | No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle WII
The first No More Heroes was a rare game on the wii a GOOD mature wii game and what started the trend and introduced Travis Touchdown a video game version of Johnny Knoxville minus the stunts and with a beam katana. Now 2 years later a sequel comes out how is it

Pros

Same gameplay as the first one I know that Suda can't really f*ck this up but its great to know that they at least remebered

Same Voice cast honestly if they this would have been a deal breaker for me if they didn't have the same people as last time cause whoever voices Travis really captures the image of him well

Better side jobs most of the side jobs are now like these 8 bit games and are A LOT better to play through especially now that ranking fights are free now I can actually get the sh*t I want.

To some this maybe but it just wasn't that great for me, but playing as Shinobu and Henry. It didn't even explain how the hell she got her arm back from the first game it just kind of throws you in theey need just expecting you to be grateful for the sequel (the beginning of the game mentions the same thing) also the camera wasn't that great for her parts jumping especially and because of this bosses are harder than they need to be (the New Destroyman took like f*ckin 3 tries). Henry was great but you only play as him once, during some f*cked up dream seqence where some girl (probably somehow related to Michael Jackson casue no girl has a voice that high) and that's it we need more time with Henry goddamn it.

Cons

The camera in general just wasn't that great this took a while to get used to and all you could do was recenter it but seriously if Suda got the camera right the first time (the first NMH did this perfectly) why the hell would he change it. But really it wasn't a deal breaker or headache inducing like the DDI sh*t stains but it takes time

The script, first of all this was pretty disappointing since I LOVED the interaction Travis would have with EACH assassin but now he doesn't even really converse with them he just fights them and then just ends it.

Not only this but all cutscenes it seems as if Travis has almost a completely different personallity, beleive me he still has his moments, in the beginning of the game especially but as it drags on it just doesn't suit him (he calls himself a "no more hero" like seriously was Suda 51 that desperate for a reference) but he comes out enough like the first game to be likeable

Overall this is a good SEQUEL if this was a standalone game this would have gotten a much lower scorebut since it bears the name but this isn't worth the $50 like the first one was but anything $20 or unders worth it
