Ninja Reflex is a prime example of a Casual game. Its like the mini games in Kengo. With out the rest of it.

Ninja Reflex steam edition is very inexpensive. I picked it up for $9. You get what you pay for here. There is not much depth to the game. Its seems like im training for belts to ultimately no conclusion. The training is done well though and its a fine game to play casually. It would have been nice though to have a bit more then just mini games. Also there is a hand with no arm which makes me feel  disconected from the gameplay at times.

I like the way you unlock things and in the steamworks version there are achievements which is nice. The controls and graphics are smooth. Though since theres not much intensive action going on you would think they could make the graphics a whole lot better. Its meant to be casual though. Meditating is cool the ol master talks soothingly and it is fun to meditate and find ones center before a belt test. I thought about using the guided meditation to center myself before going on to some fps fragfest.

Another nice thing in the Steamworks version is you will see Half Life Icons here and there which is cool. It could have been great if they where more ambitous and targeted hardcore rather then casual. If this where part of a larger game like Bushido blade it would be Masterfull. That Aside they seemed to nail what they attempted, just wish they attempted more.
