Dear Team Ninja... WHERE THE **** WAS THIS?!?! Without question what NG3 should have been... well... its still flawed.

Here we are, the real release of Ninja Gaiden 3, Honestly i had no hopes for this, then i saw the demo, downloaded it, played it, punched the air in a euphoria of excitement as my ninja was back! (Exaggeration Obviously but forgive me i love this franchise and they spoilt it, i'm just glad there is some redemption here) Just one question... Why the **** wasn't this the original sequel ?!?! It's still the lesser (Ninja Dog) of all the Ninja Gaidens' but definitely a HUGE! step up from NG3! You Can Control Ryu Again which for me to even have to make that statement is an embarrassment to the franchise.

The Gameplay has vastly improved, you have more that two weapons now, you can level them up again, you have a proper move list again, you have proper difficulty again basically it makes up for all the elements that were stripped from the original release, unfortunately its still NG3 under the hood so it still has alot of the problems that came with that release but definitely the direction was brought back to a classic NG style which i love, hasn't made any real additions to the franchise but is a tonne better. Ayane is in and So is Kasumi which honestly, ive never really liked, Ryu is the main character for a reason, Ayane feels on par with ryu in terms of speed but ultimately for me i've only ever really wanted to play as the badass ninja in black.

Presentation; Is still on par with NG3 which actually wasnt all that bad, nothing mind blowing which is a shame.

In closing i won't dwell on this too much as i have reviewed the disappointing NG3 but this release is the redemption that the franchise needed, in my previous review i likened NG3 to being Offered a Big Mac at a 5 star restaurant, well now it's not quite filet mignon but its definitely a main course again and a small redemption for team ninja on a whole.
