The crowning glory of the XBOX, how does it stack up in the following
categories as a game.
Well even before i start categorizing this game, i have to say this, there are very few games
out there where so much attention to detail has been given.
Gameplay This game simply takes the Gameplay to another level.
From the moment the game begins and you do your first slash with your Katana, you immediately know, this game is going to Own you big time.
When i say slash dont even for a sec think all you would be doing is button mashing and Ryu (The main character in the game..Some BadAss he is) would do the killing.You need to learn the Controls, each and every move has it's menacing effect, if you think you could button mash and get through the level's, take my Word look somewhere else.That said the controls are incredible responsive.
The AI is so incredible, you would be cursing your enemies. As you progress, you mistime your hit for a half a sec, you might as well be seeing a "Game Over" screen.
There is an incredible array of Weapons in this game, each with it's own unique moves.The gameplay never gets boring, it is so fast and Fun, you will be asking for more. The gameplay is fierce and fast, so when your about to enter a Fight , prepare yourself.
Each boss fight is unique and challenging. As our Kasavin puts it, after you kill a Boss and you feel you just had it, a more menacing and tougher Monster is waiting for you.
As Itagaki says in his Interview, if you want your enemies to Stand around while your slashinh through him, you might as well cut vegetables.
In short i would like to say No enemy is weak. (Dont even think about it.)
I could go on and on, about the Amazing gameplay.
In short i would like to Say, The Enemies, Physics, Enemy AI are all Top Notch.
Graphics. One of the best Graphics i've ever laid my eyes on.
Rarely you see the frame rate drop. Considering the fact that the Intense battle scenes and So Many enemies and so much going on at one time on the screen, and all this runnin at a 60 FPS.
Man you gotta give it to Team Ninja.
Sound The Soundtrack is something many ppl may not like it a get go. But this game has one of the Best Soundtracks i've ever heard.
The Ryu's screams, Alma's screeches, katana Slashing sound..etc, it just cant get better than this.
One Issue, but as expected, the English Voice acting is cheesy. Might i say
"Lost In Translation"
Value. Many ppl would take anything between 20 to 25 hrs (May be even 30, depending on the players skill)to beat the Game on Normal (When i say Normal, believe me it's Hard)
You unlock the mission mode. There are 50 missions, each requires unique strategy to beat them.
There are like 4 modes.
Normal.
Hard Very Hard
Master Mode
You would be throwing your controller at your TV in the Normal Mode ;)
The unlockable content doesnt end there, you unlock costumes, Movie theatre, there's a lot you can do in this game.
As a conclusion, I would like to say NGB is a hard game, but not very hard,but also not forgiving, it takes skill, patience, Mastering the array of menacing moves at your (Ryu's) disposal.
I could just go on about this game....i could write so much, but i think i have put in here enough information.
