I have SO many complaints about this game...but it can still be an enjoyable experience.

Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island starts out with a group of crabs led by "The Wise Crab" are performing a ritual to send the nine chosen ones to save their island. However, an evil being named "The Mawgu" interrupts the ritual and scatters the heroes all over the island. But, two Nicktoons, Danny Phantom and Spongebob Squarepants fall from the sky and land in front of The Wise Crab. He explains to them that they must find the other Nicktoons and stop the Mawgu from destroying the island.

I have SO many complaints about this game. First off, they scaled the four-player feature down to two-players. Secondly, the game itself is short. Not many levels, and they seemed rushed to me. You can speed right through each level without problems. Third, all the playable characters added were from the same universe as the original characters from "Nicktoons Unite!". Wouldn't you loved to have seen Rocko, Ren and Stimpy, or even Tommy Pickles get in on the action?

That aside, it's time to state the things I liked. Even though it was only two players, it is a much more enjoyable experience with a second player. Another thing I liked was the variety of attacks. Danny's are very straight-forward, Timmy's are for more experienced players, and Sandy's are somewhere in the middle.

The "Nicktoons" games have been running since 2004. Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots happens to be my favourite, mainly because it has Stimpy! It's a good series to give a try. Go ahead. Oh, and overall, this game is not that good, because of all the cool things they dropped. But it's still worth playing...for a little bit.
