Take me back to 1990!

I played this game for one round of pond hockey and one regular quick game and i gotta say i almost threw up. Here we are in 2009 with systems like xbox360 and ps3 matching up in graphic quality as well as game play that almost equal of the pc (some might say "if not better") and here you have the WII. First of all Graphics are dated (Wii has had this excuse from the get go but its getting old) and everything is SMALL. i squinted to see the puck i squinted to see the players and i squinted to see the text. why did i buy a 47" tv again? And after all that I couldnt check if my life depended on it, was drop passing when i wanted to be hitting up the break away player, stealing the puck was a matter of tripping the entire other team before finaly one of my own team players would pick up the puck, and selecting player closest to puck would promise disorientated unwanted movement wich usually proved to leave enough time for the opposition to get the puck .... hence the checking problem after that. that is all for the bad

The Good was that after getting used to the on screen targeting by use of the wii remote system i found one quality that could possibly be a potential of future gaming. Though it was tricky to get used to it added an element (though unwanted at first) that changed the dynamics of the game. I couldnt just pick up the game and play.... i had to think first.

So in a nut shell, great game if it were 1990. It would have been a technological break through... too bad.
