This game is totally awesome. I recommend everyone to play this game because the gameplay is fantastic.

The game play is smooth and very addictive. The directional pad is your quick play menu for offense and defense. On offense you can call for a goalie screen, crash the net, defensive pinch (your guys hold back and focus on defense) and for help (useful in the corners). On defense you can protect the net, pinch, call for help and one other I dont remember. These plays are pretty useful. I like the fan animations. Makes the game feel more like a broadcast. The sounds is great. The commentors can sometimes get annoying reapeating everything over and over again. The crowd noises and chants are an awesome touch as well as their reactions. Sound effects are great to. There is mini games to play and season mode to play full seasons with yor fav teams. It allows you to change all of the NHL rosters to your liking and it saves your changes for the next time you play.
Franchise mode lets you play more than 1 season you can trade for draft picks, sign your own coaching staff and scout surrounding contients for good young NHL talent.
