The problem with this game is the classic argument of, does realism = fun, and in this case, no it does not. There were many good ideas put into this game and I will give them credit for that, however their execution of those ideas is where I have a problem. If you going to completely change the gameplay of a game you better be sure you're getting it right. My biggest problem is that the game just doesn't flow smoothly anymore. I don't care who you are, if you are skating at max speed to a guy up against the boards, and you are expecting him to rag doll and crash to the ice, and the opposing player hardly flinches, there is a problem with the physics engine. Maybe a simple in game adjustment of game speed, hitting, and passing will make it more fun to play. But seeing as how thats not possible online, we are forced to play at EA's settings, which for me, im sorry to say, just arnt cutting it. Again ill say that I really want to love this game and maybe it will grow on me with time, but so far I have to say I'm very disappointed.
