I was expecting a lot as a fan of sports management games and I was deeply disappointed.
I hate the micromanaging in this game. You have to do every practice and scout your opponents. The ratings of your players fluctuate way too much, that is very unrealistic. One week a guy could be in the low 90's the next in the 60's. Also it is unrealistic that you can only make one or two changes in your depth chart a week, without skipping practices, that in this game are must haves in your schedule, or your players will dive bomb in the ratings. Also when I tried to sim my practices 2-4 players always got hurt, but when I did the practices myself they never got hurt.
Although the game is very boring when it comes to micromanaging, the game is completely frustrating when it comes to rosters and stats and data. I want lists dang it ! I want a list that tells me all my players like a normal sports game. I don't want a game that has all graphics and no lists. Now come on EA how hard is a little text every now and then?
If you don't mind micromanaging and spending 10 hours of your time in one season and you don't care about actually seeing your stats or contracts or even a player page for that matter, go ahead get the game and have fun with its mediocre visuals and its mundane gameplay. Don't say I didn't warn you.
