Gamers who reserve the title at GameStop in North America will receive a single-player mission called The Palace Pack. It includes an investigation bonus that unlocks "exclusive investigation opportunities" as well as an ATM hack boost that increases cash rewards when cracking bank accounts.

In addition, GameStop shoppers will receive a Watch Dogs-themed poster designed by DC and Marvel comic book artist Alex Ross. The poster is available to see at Ross' website.

Those who preorder Watch Dogs at Amazon will receive the Signature Shot Pack, which includes a single-player mission that unlocks a biometric assault rifle and the black viceroy's outfit when it is completed. The mission will see players breaching a stronghold and stealing a package that contains the weapon.

Watch Dogs is powered by an all-new proprietary engine called Disrupt. Ubisoft Montreal is leading development on the game, with support from Ubisoft's Bucharest, Paris, Quebec, and Reflections studios.

It launches November 19 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC. The PlayStation 4 version will be available "at the launch" of the system, while a next Xbox iteration is rumored, but has yet to be revealed.

Set in Chicago, Watch Dogs puts players in the shoes of Aiden Pearce, a hacker who uses his smartphone to break into the city's central operating system to control things like security cameras and also to obtain personal information.

Multiplayer in Watch Dogs will reportedly blend "seamlessly" with single-player.
