In November, Konami announced that the Silent Hill HD Collection would make its debut for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 24. However, a pair of leading retailers appear to think differently.

Amazon and GameStop don't think the HD Collection will ship this month.

According to listings at Amazon and GameStop for the Silent Hill HD Collection, the compilation pack is now slated to arrive on March 6. The HD Collection includes new versions of Silent Hill 2 and 3, complete with new voice-overs for the characters.

As of press time, a Konami representative had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment.

If the Silent Hill HD Collection is in fact delayed, it would not be the first time the combo pack had suffered a delay. The game was originally planned for fall 2011 before being rescheduled for January 24. Further, if the HD Collection makes its bow in March, it will do so alongside new franchise installment Silent Hill: Downpour, which is currently pegged for release in March.
