Need for Speed: Most Wanted isn't out for another three weeks, but Electronic Arts is already staffing up for the next entry in the series. A message on EA Gothenburg's website makes clear the Swedish studio is getting to work on an all-new Need for Speed game.

"Would you like to be a part of EA? Would you like to work on a game in the Need for Speed franchise? You now have the opportunity to become a part of EA Gothenburg and fulfill those two wishes," reads a line from the statement.

No further details on the game are available. However, the studio has 16 open positions, and the descriptions of which may shed some light on what form the game may take. Each requisition states the studio is working on a "new generation of games."

New platforms from Microsoft and Sony have long been the subject of rumor, with analysts predicting both systems will be on store shelves during the back half of 2013.

EA Gothenburg opened in March 2012. It is EA's second Swedish studio, following Battlefield and Mirror's Edge developer DICE.
