Gran Turismo 6 appears for PlayStation 3 in retailer listing
US electronics retailer Newegg.com suggests November release for the next Gran Turismo.
Gran Turismo 6 has been listed for sale by a US retailer
US electronics store Newegg.com had the game listed with a release date of November 28 and a price of $59.99.
The site shows the game on PlayStation 3 as opposed to PlayStation 4. Sony says it is launching the PlayStation 4 globally later this year, and if Newegg's listing proves to be true then it's likely Gran Turismo 6 will be released for PlayStation 3 when its successor is already on shop shelves.
Newegg's listing has now changed to "Out of Stock" and the November release date removed.
The timing coincides with a statement previously given by Sony executive Michael Denny, who said in an interview that Gran Turismo 6 would be released for PlayStation 3 this year.
Back in 2010, Gran Turismo head Kazunori Yamauchi announced that development had started on Gran Turismo 6. The game's predecessor, Gran Turismo 5, took over five years to be released.
