Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 for the Xbox will be getting reinforcements in the way of new content, says Ubisoft, the game's publisher. The company will be offering an expansion pack filled with new maps and play modes sometime this summer. The expansion will be available exclusively for the Xbox and is being developed under the working title of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 MultiMission.

Ubisoft did not state any pricing information for the add-on, nor did it specify whether the content would be downloadable over Xbox Live.

This booster pack of content will feature 11 new single-player missions based in Kazakhstan and Pakistan, where the Kazakh president has been assassinated by a Pakistani warlord. In addition to these missions, Xbox Live players will have access to 16 new maps, new skins, and two new game modes. This is the second infusion of new content for the Xbox version of Ghost Recon 2 as Red Storm released a smaller pack of maps and skins in March.

Ghost Recon 2 is also available for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. Earlier this week, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 would not be making an appearance on PCs.
