PERFECT!!! best mario game ever!
the story is that it is princess peachs birthday and mario, luigi and the two toads are all there to celebrate.suddenly a giant cake slides across the room and then out pops bowser jr and the koopalings and they throw the cake ontiop of peach trapping her inside, mario and his pals then have to save her.
is the story stupid, ABSOLUTLY but then it changes into a great 2D platformer.
the biggest thing about this game is the multiplayer,it is chaiotic but it is halarious fun!
the 3 new powerups in the game are the propplelor suit which is when you shake the wiimote you can fly in the air to access new areas, the oenguin suit lets you shoot iceballs,walk firmly on ice,swim better and slide on your belly and the ice flower lets you shoot ice balls.
the motion controls work well.
yoshi also returns for the party and hes better then ever before! he can eat anything including,fire,hammers and hes usful when you feel like eating your teamate and throwing him of a cliff.
there are mini games in the game as well when you go inside a toad house.
other than the story mode there is also 2 other modes.
free for all mode lets you do what you whant to do in multiplayer.
coin battle is when you do multiplayer and you try to collect more coins then the other. the stages in coin battle are very neat and sometimes fimmiliar, for example there was a stage with the same layout as the original "mario bros".
in my oppinion this is the perfect mario game and one of my favs!
