There's Better NFS Titles Out There, But this One's Okay If You Are A Fan of Competitive Street Racing

User Rating: 7.5 | Need for Speed ProStreet X360
Need For Speed Prostreet seems fun at first with getting the thrill of competitive street racing, but it starts to wear on your mind the more you progress through the game as the races start to feel the same after a while with drag races, sector shootouts, grip races, etc. The announcer and his attitude is what killed it for me; all he does is yammer on about Ryan Cooper and other random stuff that has little or nothing to do with the overall action. There are no cop chases at all in this game which is a major downfall from the series. And for the advertisements in this game? you see a lot from progressive insurance when you utilize cash markers to repair your cars. Overall, this is one of the most underrated and underappreciated need for speed titles, but it does have some appeal if you are a huge fan for competitive street racing and can stomach the irritating announcer guy with his mass flattering of ryan cooper.
