A Racing game that got stuck in the Garage!

I love racing games. I love the variety of cars and I love to drive fast. Rather than being chased by cops - I enjoy perfecting every track and beating record times.
I thought this game was a return to the older style of racing games.

At first I enjoyed myself....but after the first round of races - upgrades become necessary. Their upgrade system is not user friendly at all. If you are a car engineer I'm sure it's very nice. But car engineers drive real cars - this is a game that should be accessible to people who don't understand suspension details, and various brake adjustments.

I decided to go online and get some help with the blueprint system. I spent a whole afternoon to make one car that worked.
Sure the car worked for a while, but then the next tier opened. Yet again, I needed more upgrades.

There is no escape from the garage trap. Their "Quick Start" upgrade packages are super expensive and you still can't win in the higher levels.

In addition, the advanced paint system was more annoying that enjoyable. A proper user interface could have easily solved this problem.

I bought this because it was on sale - but don't be fooled. This is way too complicated for a racing game. They should have spent more time on the tracks and AI and less in the garage.
