Need For Speed Nitro had some cool new gameplay features but, only contains ten tracks total.

User Rating: 7 | Need for Speed: Nitro WII
(+) good car customization, good visuals, challenging AI, good multiplayer.

(-) difficult drift controls, only a total of ten tracks, the items in the game can get annoying.

Need for Speed Nitro had a different approach from the other games. Instead of going for mature games they went a bit torch making this game so younger gamers can play it. The bad thing is that the difficulty of the AI would make it almost impossible for some younger players too win part of that fact are the difficult drift controls.
Other than that the game isn't too hard you flick the wii remote to do a nitro boost and you can use items that will either lower your heat level, repair your car, or increase the heat level of your opponent.

The graphics in the game are nice and the feature that the first placer colors will appear all over the level kind of spices up the gameplay. The nitro boosts in the game look good also. You can also customize cars pick there color of paint and you can even draw the symbol that appears on the level when your car is in first place which really adds creativity to the game.

The multiplayer mode is good you can have up to four players and the one playing that are not in first get to see the first placers colors all over the track. The mode is pretty much the same as single player just that you are racing the tracks with friends on split screens.

The story mode and the whole game only contains a total of ten tracks so once you beat the tracks in story mode in one difficulty you go on to the next difficulty and repeat the story mode. The characters in story mode all have a cartoon like look to them and they all mostly do funny things.

Need for Speed Nitro is a good game just that it lacked the kind of content that that the game really need to have something to come back to when you play the game. If you like Need for Speed games you might want to buy nitro but, you could rent it first because at about twenty dollars the game still seems a bit overpriced.
