Arcade racing rarely gets better than this.

NFS lives up to its name. The game presents a great sense of speed with special fx for whenever you pass a buck on the highway and especially when you hit the beloved nitrous button. The graphics are pretty good for a ps2 game and you get a rather huge open city to explore in. There are enough customization options to satisfy most obsessive tweakers so there are many possibilities when it comes to stylin' up your ride. The cutscenes also have a neat effect to them and the story isn't bad at all for a racing game... I was surprised that there was a story at all!
