This 3DFX enhanced version of Need for speed 2 is a "must get" for fans and racers alike

If you have played the original Need for speed 2, this version will not be entirely different.. but there has been major improvement including more Cars, tracks, and better Graphics.




Although unlike Need for speed 2, SE (special edition) however has two versions.




One that's made for Windows 95 that only fixes glitches and adds in more cars and tracks.


And One that's made for Windows 98 that requires Voodoo graphics cards like Voodoo,Voodoo RUSH, and Voodoo 2.




The graphics upgrade (Voodoo) not only tends to Smooth out in-game textures, but adds car reflections, weather, improved fog, shading, improved skybox rendering, bus flying on screen (Select tracks) and transparent in-game menu overlay featuring a rotating view around the player's car.




Overall from Need for speed 2 to the SE version theres a pretty big improvement looking at one and the other.
