Need for speed is a good game for the gamecube....

Need for Speed Hot pursuit 2 is the first need for speed for the gamecube. and in my opinion , it is better than the later need for speed games ( for the cube and WII).
The game has two main modes, one in which you have to participate in 33 differents events , and ther other is the same but without COPS. COPS will try to stop you using differents metods, like using a CHOPPER, using SPIKES, using BARRICADES, etc. This is the funnier part of the game, trying to survive the COPS is difficult in harder modes.
The game also has an option that allows you to be a COP.
The game can be played with two players, in different options like:
- LAP KO: Survive the COPS, and after every lap the last player gets eliminated.
- Race: Survive the COPS and win the race
- BE THE COP
- FREE RIDE

The graphics are fine, and they look good. The cars arent too detailed, but they dont look bad either. The soundtrack is fine, but not awesome. Th control is difficult to master, but nothing to worry about.

I recommend this game, it is fun and has a great multiplayer. I still play this game after 4 years and i have a wii.
