One of the funnest racing games ever!

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is a fun game if you just want to drive fast cars and run from the cops. There are basically two main modes in this game: Hot Pursuit and World Racing. In the Hot Pursuit mode you have to complete of series of challenges like time trials, lap knockout, and normal races. There are cops in every race that will try to stop you by ramming you, using spike strips, and they will even call for helicopters to drop explosives on the road. There is also a "be the cop" mode in Hot Pursuit. In this mode you are the cop and you have to stop the street racers by ramming them until there car stops. World Racing is basically the same as Hot Pursuit but with no cops to get in your way, the race types are the same. You will unlock new cars when you win races. You will also earn NFS points by doing cool things like reaching a target speed, overtaking opponenents and getting all 4 wheels off the ground.
The environments in this game look awesome and they are filled with shortcuts and jumps. The cars are great too, they are all exotic cars like Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Viper's, Mustang's etc.
The soundtrack in NFSHP2 fits the action nicely, it features bands like Hot Action Cop, Bush, Rush, and more. There are instrumental versions of all the songs too.
A 9.0 might seem like a high score, but for the time this was a good racing game and it still is fun to play if you just want to drive fast cars and run from the cops.
