NCAA Football is a great game that is unfortunately limited by bad commentary and gameplay that makes it seem rushed.
Graphics: The graphics are AMAZING for a handheld system. They are easily PS2 quality and are a joy to look upon while playing this game. The only bad part is that they get a bit pixel-ly at some areas in the game.
Sound: The sound could have been reworked for this game. I owned last years installment of the NCAA Football franchise for the PS2 and when I first played this game, I was greeted with the EXACT SAME quotes from the commentators. So, if you've played an NCAA Football game, the commentary will get immediately boring.
Value: Although there are no special modes such as the "story" mode, the dynasty will keep you entertained for a LONG LONG time. There are an insane amount of years you can be a head coach, and if you set contracts to be on and the difficulty to a fair level, you will have loads of fun times even if you do not do good in the dynasty mode, seeing as you will be sent to another team to play as.
Difficulty: Depending on the difficulty setting you choose, the game can range from extremely easy to extremely difficult. Playing the dynasty mode in normal difficulty makes the game seem pretty balanced, but at some times the game can pull out some weirdness, making a game against Miami extremely easy or a game against Duke extremely difficult, but it wil only happen once or twice a year at most. If you have played a football game before, the learning curve for this one will be about 5 minutes. If you are new to the football sim scene, it will take up to 20 minutes.
