Words can't convey how much I love this game.... but, I'll try!

First off, this review is coming from a user that DOESN'T play sports games on ANY game system since, NBA Jam for the SNES. That alone should tell you how well this game is. This game opened the door for me to try other basketball sports titles. Then soon after, I quickly shut the door on most of them and, came back to my first. Just like that foolish, faithful, and hopeless lover, that has had their heart broken countless times by the same jerk. I am that faithful, hopeless lover and, this game is my jerk. I keep coming back to it! and it never fails. Compared to the last title, this game is a vast improvement. from the historically accurate courts you get to play on, to the game play, to the sound. DJ Cucumber slice was a welcomed feature to the series. his commentary as well as, Just Blaze laying the instrumental tracks adds to the real street ball feeling. I had hours of fun just playing the single player game, but once you throw some friends into the fold, it becomes a brand new game all over again. The gamebreaker feature was awesome too. I once timed myself to see how fast I could win a game against the computer using nothing but gamebreakers. This is how innovation is properly integrated into a stale genre, thus making it brand new and, a absolute pleasure to play every time you pick up the controller. No matter the system, NBA street Vol. 2 is the arcade basketball to play.
