Should have been a nominee for Game of the Year, and should have been Sports Game of the Year.
The gamebreaker is especially cool because now, not only can you do one man dunks, but to get more points, you can do three man dunks, as you can pass to your other players at the last second, who continue the dunk. It's all put together very nicely.
The Trick Stick is the same as ever, some new tricks added in there. It's so cool the fact that you hold the R and L buttons to perfrom harder tricks, and it makes it easier than doing those annoying combos and constant button-mashing.
The controls are as smooth as ever, and have remained the same since the original NBA Street. And that's the way it should be.
The storymode is easily the most impressive aspect of the game, for the simple reaosn of it's variety. At the menu, you can edit your custom court, play a game of pick up Bball to practice your skills, you can choose what game to participate in, you can buy stuff for your player to wear, such as necklaces, watches, wristbands, jerseys, and some new kicks. The shoping is off the hook, as you can by everything from Lakers old-school jerseys to Tmac shoes to Kobe Bryant Leather Jackets. It's very cool.
I'd recommend this to every sports fan, andevery basketball fan, because it is simply the best Bball game ever made.
