I dont want to play an And1 Mix Tape game!

Whisky Bravo's review made me laugh out loud at least a dozen times. Bottom line is this: If you want to play an NBA game that has some semblance of realism, play ESPN. If you want what amounts to nothing more than 5 on 5 NBA Jam or an interactive And1 Mix Tape session, play NBA Live. As for me, I will take the sim everytime. That's why I bought ESPN. I rented Live 2005, and its ok for the average mass market type gamer ( Whisky Bravo ) who only wants flash and no realism. Which isn't a bad thing, it just depends on what you want out of a hoops game. The dunk contest is pretty cool and the whole All Star Weekend addition is a nice little extra, but hardly worth being a full game by itself. Live's developers have been sitting on their hands for too long, and it shows.
