I was surprised, good job EA.

Besides MVP Baseball, this might be EA's best effort this year. The game is very polished. The graphics look more polished than last year's version, especially in the all-star challenge, X-box does make a difference in this one in the 5 - on - 5 portion, player models are better. PS2 does a good job and this is a good job for EA. Nobody has gotten a basketball game perfect yet, and that will take some time. This one is neck and neck with Sega this year, even the presentation in this game has been upped and i'm impressed to say the least. They even dropped it to 40 bucks for you EA freaks...but then again the better game is still 20. This game however is far from a bad game, good soundtrack, AI needs some help, and everything seems a bit too automatic, and fast breaks don't seem to work to well when running with a teammate, they come to a stop or slow down and it gets confusing. Isomation works well this time around. Live fans shouldn't be let down at all by this game, good job. I was only able to pick up and play a couple of games for gameplay, so didn't get into the franchise portion yet, so I might try that and come back and edit this for the franchise portion. This might also be the best playing NBA Live to date.
