What made me want to get this game the most was the slam dunk competition. I was really excited about this new feature as well as all of the all star break. I wish they could have had the skills challenge, but that’s a minor issue to me. I was not disappointed when the game finally came out, and the slam dunk competition was very fun to play. The controls take a little getting used to, but once you learn them, you will be getting perfect 10’s every time. I liked the 3 point shoot out too and the general all star game where they added a new move where you could throw the ball off the backboard and dunk all on your own. I really have fun doing that move, especially if someone was under the goal. They updated the roster pretty well and they added more features to the create a player mode with more shoes and customizable options. The core game play is still pretty much the same, with only a few extras and added stuff like the post moves which made controlling shaq a lot of fun. I just enjoy dunking on people that’s all, both in the game and real life. Overall, a good game to play, and a must for basketball fans.
