The normal gameplay is where NBA Live 06 shines the most, mainly due to the Freestyle Superstar system. Even less touted team match-ups are made interesting with the chance that a few all-stars are going to take over the game. And you can definitely dominate a game if you get the ball to the right players. Using the direct pass feature is now more important since it makes picking out the icon players a snap. Hoop fanatics and causal sports gamers a like should really dig how Freestyle Superstar changes the dynamic of the pro game in NBA Live 06.

Dunking on fools or throwing self tosses off the crane cam rarely gets boring. More online options would have helped.
