Everything you liked about the first NBA JAM on the game hear was taken to the next level on this title.
Even though it was a game gear game you could still tell the engine and gameplay was faster, easier on the eyes and overall more solid than the first NBA JAM.
Here we had more features, more options and bigger rosters to keep all us basketball fanatics happy on the game gear.
The menus I thought were actually worse than the first NBA JAM but that sacrifice was probably due to the larger rosters and limited space on the game gear software.
Whether picking this game up and just playing a game or playing it for 3 hours straight the game kept your attention and was incredibly fun to play.
This is one of the few game gear games that I found more enjoyable to play on the game gear rather than the NES or other systems.
Still - the arcade version was impossible to capture here. So while the game was fun, it still lacked that something that made it a true arcade expereince on the game gear.
