While the graphics may be just a BIT clearer, the 32x version of NBA JAM delivers the same excitement as the Genesis version....Is that bad?.......OF COURSE NOT!....But if I had purchased this game new, I would be somewhat disappointed. I do have to admit that the new soundtrack, "new" dunks, and bigger players did spark my interest at first, slowly but surely I found myself thinking that I was playing the original genesis version. If you've never played the original Genesis version, I recommend that you purchase this version [and the 32x system] but to all other fellow Genesis owners, stick with the original [unless you're a collector like myself].
