The game is largely unchanged from NBA 2K7. Most of the controls, graphics and animation have stayed intact. Because this version is on the PS2, it doesn't get the bells and whistles compared to its next gen counterparts. Just so you know there is no dunk contest, but the 2K series is known to deliver solid basketball, and this what you'll find here. I really wanted to see some big changes, especially since the devs can take full advantage of the PS2 hardware, but I guess its all about the money. If you're still one of the few that haven't made the jump into next gen, then this game is for you. Granted, There's no sauce, but there is plenty of steak.
