Great multi-player, great way to spend the night with friends.
The iso-motion allows for some cool moves to be pulled off easily, ease of use anyone? This is complimented by the ability to change shots in mid air, which allows dynamic shooting no matter what the defender decides to do.
The difficulty of the single player game is just right. If I play at rookie, I can usually win the game by 30 maybe more points, if I put it to the highest level of difficulty, Hall of Fame, I lose by more than 30 points. So I am somewhere in the middle of quite a couple of difficulty levels. Game sliders will help you customize the difficulty as well.
The Crib is a nice little feature where you get your own room sort of like the upcoming Home for the PS3. You get to customize it with different items from different teams. You can make it a shrine to your personal favorite team. It also fills with trophies marking your different achievements during the course of the games.
24/7 Mode is another neat feature where you create a version of you, or your friend, whatever, and then you train him to become a baller and work your way up. It's quite fun, gets old at the beginning because your character can't shoot for his life but after a while you get better and it gets more interesting.
The sound in the game is quite nice but has limited variety, don't except NBA players to listen to death metal. Has some catchy tunes, and some tunes you wish you could hear while you play a game.
Overall, this game is quite fun, specially in multi-player. It can get very competitive and there will be quite a couple of times when you will just be like "Ohhhhh did you see that dunk?" or something like that depending on how insane you are.
